July 2024 Studio Update
as well as some tidbits of everyday beauty, inspiration, and encouragement
We just got back from a 2 week trip to visit family, and the next few weeks in the Layne Britton Art world are going to be BUSY! I am very excited for it all. One of the biggest pieces of news is… the Citrus Collection has a release date!
Email subscribers received exclusive information about the official release date - which is sometime the last full week of July.
What will be included in the collection:
10 acrylic lemons, oranges, and olive branches on handmade cotton paper, with the option of a frame;
and a “triptych” of 3 acrylic lemon branches on 11x14 inched raw stretched canvas, with the option of a solid maple wood frame (these were painted to be paired together but may also be purchased separately). Here is a sneak peak of the triptych:
AND - I have chosen a new organization to donate a portion of the proceeds from Layne Britton Art to!
The nonprofit assigned to the Citrus Collection is Mission of Hope. MOH started in Haiti and now serves in several countries across the globe. They primarily focus on education, nutrition, medical care, and church advancement.
This organization is especially dear to my heart, as I have traveled with them serving medically as a Physician Assistant, and have seen firsthand their impact. With the current gang violence and food crisis in Haiti, their work there is making a huge difference.
You can find out more information about their mission and work here.
And lastly, a bit of encouragement for you this week:
“Yet hope returns when I remember this one thing: the Lord’s unfailing love and mercy still continue, fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise. The Lord is all I have, and so in him I put my hope.”
As always, thank you for your continued support. I couldn't do this without you!
